Mystery Reader
I would love for you to come and be a Mystery Reader in our classroom. I will reveal one clue about our Mystery Reader each day of the week leading up to their visit on Friday. The students will try and figure out who the reader is. You will have about 20 minutes to spend with the kids. Most readers bring two or three of their child's favorite books or books that they loved as a kid. Please bring picture books instead of chapter books since we will only have time to read a few chapters. It has worked out well for the Mystery Reader to come right after morning assembly on Fridays but I am flexible. Please do not let your child know that you are coming. They have so much fun trying to guess who it is!
I will email you to get clues for the week you are coming. The clues should start off vague and become more specific as the week goes on.
Example:
1. I am not a father.
2. I drive a car.
3. I work in an office.
4. I have curly hair.
5. I have a dog named Bruno.
